Johnny Cash kam Sam Phillips von Sun Records in Kontakt. Bei dem schon damals kleinen und feinen Label veröffentlichte Johnny Cash seine erste Single „Hey Porter". Bei Sund Records kamen viele weitere Songs von Johnny Cash wie „Next In Line", „Ballad Of A Teenage Queen", „Fosom Prisom Blues" ... zur Veröffentlichung. Mit dem Erfolg von Johnny Cash ist auch der Erfolg von Sun Records verbunden. Beide profitierten voneinander. Johnny Cash erhielt die Möglichkeit sein erstes Album zu veröffentlichen und Sun Records wurde eines der großen Labels in Amerika. Hier handelt es sich jetzt um eine Zusammenstellung seiner Songs bei Sun Reocrds. Insgesamt 25 Titel, die sich auch schon auf anderen Best Of Alben zum Teil finden.

With the succses from Johnny Cash is also the succsess of Sun Records combined. Both make profit from one another. Johnny Cash got the chance to publish his first album and Sun Records became one of the biggest labels in america. On this CD is a gathering of his songs with Sun Records. All together 25 songs, that can partially be found on other Best of records allready.
